Thomas Alva Edison was a very remarkable old man. He was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan. Thomas Edison is an American Inventor. With the inventions he made, people all around the world loved his inventions. Some devices that he made was the phonograph (recorder), movie camera, carbon microphone, incandescent light bulb and some more other useful inventions.

Thomas Edison had grey/white hair like a rainy and a perfect white sunny cloud. He wore midnight black suits with a bow on the collar. When he walks he has a cain, he also hobbles and wobbles while he walks.

In his early life when he was 8 he went to a private school named Reverend G.B. Engle. He didn’t really manage to achieve that school that well, but when the teachers said that Edison was a slow child his Mum Nancy took him out of school and she taught him instead. With his Mum teaching him many things he didn’t know about, his mum Nancy was his greatest inspiration. He was mostly taught by his mother. When he was 13 he had a job as a newsboy, selling newspapers and candy on the local railroad. He spent most of his free time reading scientific, and technical books, and also had the opportunity at this time to learn how to operate a telegraph.

Edison’s greatest success was the advanced process he used in all of his inventions. He gave us a gift of his inventions that would be really useful for the future.

Thomas Edison is a really inspiring man with his knowledge and his inventions that he made. Without Thomas Edison’s inventions we wouldn’t have the great things that we have now.
