Hi everyone,
Over the past few months, we have been working on a break through. Our break through is to donate second hand things that are still in good condition such as clothing, toys, books etc. We are going to donate these things to Woman's refuge. We have decided to choose this charity because we have been informed that the woman and children leave their houses without any items. We thought that this is a good charity to support because it said on their website they said that they need children's books, toys and clothing. Today we sent an email to Woman's refuge and told them what we were going to do and how we were going to make a difference to them. We are waiting upon the email to make sure that this is what we are going to do. If you have any suggestions please leave comment.

this sounds like a great idea, you ask families from school to donate toys and clothes they have outgrown, you will help them declutter their homes, while making a difference to others and also recycling, fantastic. Did you know there is also a website called freecycling in NZ where people can list things they have to giveaway, their might be somepeople on there with clothing :)
