The Royal kingdom

The Royal kingdom

In the middle of long  war cry
with no one knowing who will die.
In an ever slowing rush up the hill,
with a wet sword, making most ill.

He dived out of the way of a sword
and then once more, shouted and roared.
The enemy, with the white face,
and then the with skill and grace.

Then when a bright blue moon rose,
the sea reflected, a smashed nose.
and the hill lay, bloodied and littered
with a hundred bodies, in a liquid that glittered.

The General's hand was strong,
but the promotion, felt so wrong.
In all the time through the war,
the big thought, was so small.

Tap, tap, went the shoes on rock,
I thought I was to be utterly mocked.
All castle and prince seemed a joke,
and just incase, I didnt go and gloat,
because I feared I would go in the moat.

There The was, all muscle and riches,
He took it all in , with eyes as glitches.
Then the big prince held out a hand,
and shook his, with a smile so grand.

Then the prince waved him in the place,
past the gate and the armor with a mace.
past another gate, and the big doorway,
into the hallway with a mounted manta ray.

Through the hallway and  past the Mantaray,
and into a room with the king, “Hooray, Hooray,”
cheered the king “you're finally made it to the castle”
The King said all this while he had a gleaming smile.

The King showed where there were signs,
and told him to command a dozen lines.
To go and destroy the signs of enemy,
and to bring the men to the royal armory.

In the middle of long  war cry
with no one knowing who will die.
In an ever slowing rush up the hill,
with a wet sword, making most ill.
But this time as a captain, and general.
