I think that in the the 'google age', which is what we now live in, imagination is more important than ever. Knowledge can be found at the click of a button, but imagination is much more.
Imagination is surely the key to the future as we do not have precise knowledge of what the future holds but with imagination and creativity we can meet the future with confidence and enthusiasm!
Imagination is very very important. We use imagination when thinking about something that could have happened, or something that has happened. In Miriam Lord Community Primary school we have learning muscles these are our muscle that we try to stretch every day. Not only in school but also at home. Persevering, questioning, revising, collaborating, making links, planning and a lot lot more. We use our persevering muscle when we need to try something but we cannot do it we try and try and we never give up. We collaborate when we are doing a job together or with a patener. We question when we are stuck or when we do not understand something. We always revise our work just in case we have mistakes in our work. We use our making links muscle when we link our work with the other work, it is called prior learning.
I love your reply Alisha and am very impressed with how well you describe your learning muscles. You obviously think very carefully about what you are doing, why you are doing it and the most effective way to do it. A great thinker and blogger!
IT is really important that we use our imagination. We use it for a lot of things such as about a surial story or when you are drawing a pictuer, basicly we always use our imagintion.
I think that is a really good thing as by using our imaginations we can often make things much more interesting. Are you encouraged to use your imagination a lot at school?
I think that knowledge is very important and I'm very grateful that I live in a country where I have had the chance to get an excellent education for free. However, I do agree that imagination is also important and I hope that I can inspire a love of knowledge and encourage imagination in the learners I work with.
