Buddy Reading

Today we joined our youngest learners in Learning Hub 1 for some buddy reading. We each chose a partner and read them different stories. We practiced asking them questions to find out what they thought of the book. We did this both to develop our leadership skills and to help our newest members of the Stonefields School community to feel more comfortable at our school. Check out the photos to see us in action!
(Thanks to Miss Holland for the awesome pics)

  1. I really think that would have been a worthwhile experience for both the older students and the younger ones and Miss Holland did a fantastic job with the photographs to explain what was happening. The students looked really involved in the activity which I thought was a positive thing.
